Zionist regime drone attack on Majdal Zoun Lebanon
News Sources Report Zionist Regime’s Drone Attack on Southern Lebanon
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency adn Al-Nashra, news sources reported a drone attack by the Zionist regime on southern Lebanon.
The sources stated that an Israeli drone targeted Majdal Zoun. Lebanese sources noted that rescue teams were dispatched to the attack site, with initial data indicating casualties.
It is worth mentioning that Lebanese sources recently revealed that since the ceasefire came into effect at dawn on November 27, 2024 (Azar 7, 1403) until the evening of may 2, 2025 (Ordibehesht 12), the Zionist regime has repeatedly violated the truce and carried out numerous aggressions across land, air, and sea fronts.
During this period, the Zionist regime breached the ceasefire:
- 1,516 times via land incursions
- 1,470 times via aerial violations
- 73 times via maritime encroachments
Lebanese sources also confirmed that so far:
- 152 people have been martyred due to attacks by the Zionist regime and repeated ceasefire violations
- 349 others have been injured
The November 2024 ceasefire agreement—brokered by regional and international mediators—aimed to halt hostilities in Lebanon. However, evidence suggests this agreement has been frequently violated by the Zionist regime, preventing lasting peace in the region.
