Haaretz: Israeli army needs 4 times more forces to control Gaza
Zionist Newspaper Admits Regime’s Army Must quadruple troop Numbers to Control Key Gaza Strip Areas
The English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Palestinian Shahab News Agency, reported that the Zionist regime’s newspaper Haaretz stated the Israeli army does not issue notices to soldiers who declare their unwillingness to continue fighting in Gaza, as it knows they will disobey orders. The report acknowledges that tel Aviv’s claimed statistic of 80% adherence to military service among Zionist reservists is inaccurate, with the actual figure being substantially lower.
It added that the army has recently exerted heavy pressure on soldiers to deploy to combat zones but faces major challenges in summoning them effectively.
The report emphasized that data on reservists’ compliance with mobilization orders has been manipulated.
Moreover, it stressed that the Zionist regime’s army requires four times more troops to seize and maintain control over strategic areas in the Gaza Strip and sustain its occupation of these regions.
