He stated: “Imposing 80% tariffs on China seems like the right decision, and the final call rests with the Treasury Secretary.”
The U.S. president added: “China must open its markets to the U.S., which will benefit them.”
Yesterday, ahead of the first official round of trade talks between the U.S. and China scheduled for Saturday, Donald Trump also announced that he no longer intends to impose additional tariffs on Chinese goods.
