Pakistani prime minister meets Saudi official
Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif Meets with Adel Al-Jubeir in Islamabad
According too a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz sharif held a meeting with Adel Al-Jubeir, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
The Pakistani Prime MinisterS Office stated that the meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere, with Sharif expressing satisfaction over the positive trajectory of brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
During the talks,Sharif strongly condemned the reported missile and drone attacks by India against Pakistan,stating that thes strikes had resulted in the deaths of dozens of innocent civilians,including women and children,as well as damage to civilian infrastructure.
He emphasized that India’s provocative and unjustified actions violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity while seriously jeopardizing regional peace and stability.
Prior to this visit, Adel Al-Jubeir had traveled to New Delhi for discussions with Indian officials.
Saudi Arabia traditionally maintains close ties with Pakistan. Riyadh has sought to mediate tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad amid escalating regional hostilities.
