Reports emerge about Indian fighter jet downing intense explosions in Kashmir
Media reports indicate ongoing military clashes between india and Pakistan, notably in the kashmir region, and the downing of a fighter jet.
According to the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News agency, an Al-Mayadeen network correspondent confirmed reports of an Indian Rafale fighter jet being shot down and its pilot captured.
meanwhile, Pakistan’s Minister of Planning told Reuters: “We hope India reduces tensions and seeks dialog.”
Additionally, reports indicate that Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for a meeting with senior officials.
The Al-Mayadeen correspondent reported that clashes continue in the Indian-controlled part of Kashmir. Pakistani media also stated that their surveillance drones have reached New Delhi.
The Indian Army announced it had shot down Pakistani drones over Amritsar. Police in India-administered Kashmir confirmed at least five civilians were killed in Jammu during this morning’s attacks by Pakistan.
