Satellite images of Pakistan’s closed skies and active flights in India
Data from the live flight tracking system (Flightradar) shows Pakistan’s airspace has been fully closed.
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority announced hours ago that the country’s airspace will remain closed for another 24 hours.
This move by Pakistan comes in response to escalating military tensions with India.
The Pakistani military launched a large-scale operation against India this morning, codenamed “Bunyān Marṣūṣ”.
Following the aviation authority’s declaration, satellite images from Flightradar confirm that Pakistan’s airspace is entirely shut down.Meanwhile, Flightradar data shows flights remain active in Indian airspace.
