Clashes between India and Pakistan intensify as Indian Army reacts to Islamabad’s attack on S-400 system.
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that India initiated the conflict, and Pakistan is acting in self-defense.
Ahsan Iqbal, Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, emphasized: “We do not intend to violate our commitment against nuclear weapon use. We hope India will move toward de-escalation through diplomacy.”
Meanwhile, a Pakistani security source reported attacks on 10 Indian military bases, claiming the destruction of Indian artillery, missile depots, and logistical warehouses. The source added that “Pakistan’s military command decided to strike critical targets in retaliation for India’s aggression.”
Pakistan’s Geo News stated that Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar told U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio that Islamabad is ready to resolve the crisis with india—provided New Delhi halts its operations. Dar warned that if India continues its attacks, Pakistan will respond with greater intensity.
“We are retaliating against Indian aggression but are not warmongers,” Dar said. “While we seek peace, India is doing the opposite.”
Indian sources dismissed Pakistan’s claims about destroying an S-400 system as “baseless.” They also confirmed that Jammu and Kashmir Development Commissioner was killed in a Pakistani attack on his residence in Rajouri.
