Israeli regime Fighter Jet Mistakenly drops Bomb Near Ramat David Airbase
The English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu, reports that in the second incident of its kind in less than a month, the Israeli regime’s army announced on Saturday that one of its fighter jets dropped a bomb in a non-residential area near ramat David Airbase in northern occupied Palestine due to a technical malfunction.
In a statement,the Israeli military said: “Today,munitions from a fighter jet were released in a controlled manner over an uninhabited area in the north to allow the aircraft to land safely. The munitions were jettisoned due to a technical issue preventing safe landing. No casualties occurred, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.”
Local sources added that the unexploded bomb landed between Kfar Baruch and Hiyugiyu villages, prompting Israeli forces to secure and neutralize it.On April 15, another Israeli regime fighter jet intending to bomb Gaza mistakenly dropped a bomb near the border settlement of Nir yitzhak. The bomb detonated but caused no casualties.
In June 2024, an Israeli tank also fired shells into occupied territory near Gaza.
A month prior, an F-15 from the Israeli air force dropped an unexploded 500-kilogram bomb on Moshav Yated in Eshkol—an incident described by the regime’s military as “rare and hazardous.”
