Russian President Says Kyiv Did Not​ Respond to Moscow’s “Victory Day” ‌Ceasefire‌ Initiative ‍and​ Almost Promptly Launched Large-Scale Attacks Against Russia

According to a report ⁤by the English section ‌of webangah⁣ News Agency, citing ⁤Mehr News Agency and TASS, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters at​ the Kremlin that Kyiv did not respond⁣ to Moscow’s proposed “victory Day” ceasefire.⁤ ‍

Putin emphasized: “The Kyiv government left our ceasefire proposal unanswered. Moreover, ​shortly after we ⁢announced​ the proposal on May 5, thay carried out large-scale nighttime attacks by May⁤ 7.”

He stated that⁤ Kyiv’s ​May 7 attack on Moscow involved 524 drones and several Western-made missiles.

The ⁤Russian president added: “Simultaneously,​ 45 naval drones were deployed in⁢ the Black Sea, and attacks continued on May 8, 9, and 10.”
