Russian President Says Kyiv Did Not Respond to Moscow’s “Victory Day” Ceasefire Initiative and Almost Promptly Launched Large-Scale Attacks Against Russia
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters at the Kremlin that Kyiv did not respond to Moscow’s proposed “victory Day” ceasefire.
Putin emphasized: “The Kyiv government left our ceasefire proposal unanswered. Moreover, shortly after we announced the proposal on May 5, thay carried out large-scale nighttime attacks by May 7.”
He stated that Kyiv’s May 7 attack on Moscow involved 524 drones and several Western-made missiles.
The Russian president added: “Simultaneously, 45 naval drones were deployed in the Black Sea, and attacks continued on May 8, 9, and 10.”
