Extensive Tel Aviv moves to retrieve famous spy’s body from Syria
Israeli Regime intelligence Official Reports Contacts Between Syria and Israel to Return Body of Spy Eli Cohen
According to a report by the English section of “Webangah news Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, an intelligence official from the Zionist regime has revealed contacts between Syria and the regime regarding the return of the body of an Israeli spy.
A senior official in the Zionist regimeS intelligence stated that there have been communications between Syria and Tel Aviv over repatriating the remains of Eli Cohen, an Israeli spy whose true identity was eventually uncovered, leading to his execution in 1965.
The official noted that direct intervention by new Syrian authorities was the sole factor enabling the return of Tzvi Feldman, an Israeli soldier’s body.
Previously, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, announced in a special Mossad operation that they had retrieved another soldier’s remains—killed during the 1982 Battle of Sultan Yacoub.
The Zionist regime’s army radio confirmed that Feldman’s body had been returned from Syria.
In a joint statement, mossad and the Zionist regime’s military declared: “We successfully recovered Feldman’s body in a complex operation deep inside Syrian territory, based on precise intelligence data.”
