According to a report by the English section of “Webangah News Agency” citing Mehr news Agency, Barak Ravid, an Axios reporter, wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) this Sunday regarding the fourth round of indirect talks between U.S. and Iranian officials in Oman:
A senior U.S. official stated that Steve Witkoff, the White House representative in the negotiations, held direct and indirect discussions with Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Araghchi during the fourth round of talks in Oman.
The Axios reporter added: “An agreement was reached to continue negotiations on technical elements. We are encouraged by today’s outcome and eagerly await our next meeting, wich will be held in the near future.”
