Thousands of Istanbul residents gather in support of Gaza + images
Thousands of members of civil society and charity organizations, including the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), gathered in Istanbul’s Beyazıt Square, chanting “Israel is criminal, get out of Palestine,” and marched toward the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque too protest against the attacks by Israeli occupiers on Gaza.
The demonstrators,waving turkish and Palestinian flags while shouting slogans such as “Israel is criminal,leave Palestine,” moved from Yeniçeri Street toward the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque.
They assembled around a platform where speeches were scheduled to be held in support of Gaza and condemnation of the crimes committed by Zionist forces.
