According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, Hussein al-Sheikh, recently appointed as deputy head of the Palestinian Authority, emphasized that Hamas is part of the Palestinian nation and cannot be excluded from the political process.
Al-Sheikh, widely regarded as an ally of the U.S. and the Zionist regime, stated that Washington is the only party capable of pressuring Tel Aviv to halt the current war in Gaza.
He added, “We hope Hamas will also take valiant steps to help end this war.”
Al-Sheikh further claimed that Hamas must revise it’s policies to integrate into Palestine’s political system. He argued that peaceful resistance—not armed struggle—is the best path toward establishing a Palestinian state against the Zionist regime.
