Witkaf travels to occupied territories
Steve Weitkopf, the U.S. President’s Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs, traveled to the occupied territories and is set to meet with Netanyahu to discuss developments in Gaza as well as Iran’s nuclear negotiations.
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, Zionist regime media announced the visit of Steve Weitkaf, the U.S. President’s special Envoy for Middle East Affairs, to the occupied territories.
Zionist media reports indicate that during his trip, Weitkaf will meet and hold talks with senior officials of the occupying regime, including Benjamin Netanyahu and Ron Dermer, its Minister of Strategic Affairs.
The Zionist regime’s Kan TV network reported that Egypt’s Foreign Minister spoke with Weitkaf by phone before his trip regarding developments in gaza.
According to Zionist regime media reports, Weitkaf will discuss both the release of Israeli captives in Gaza and Iran’s nuclear negotiations with the occupying regime’s security and political cabinet during his visit.
Weitkaf’s trip comes as Hamas’ Qassam Brigades announced they would release American-Israeli captive soldier Aidan Alexander today.
Yesterday, Weitkaf criticized Netanyahu in remarks, stating that while Washington seeks to secure Israel’s captives in Gaza—Tel Aviv is pushing for continued war.
