Trump calls for one trillion dollar Saudi investment in America
Teh New York times Reveals: Donald Trump Carries Saudi Arabia’s Proposed $1 Trillion Investment in the U.S.
According to a report by the English section of “Webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency, the American newspaper The New York Times disclosed that Donald Trump, the U.S. president, is preparing for his upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia. The newspaper stated that he is carrying lists of his desired Saudi investments in the U.S., valued at $1 trillion—equivalent to Saudi Arabia’s GDP.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince, aims for investments up to $600 billion. Economic experts consider both figures unrealistic.
It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia is expected to face a budget deficit exceeding $70 billion this year due to declining oil prices and megaproject expenses—a situation pushing the country toward borrowing rather than expanding foreign investments.
Economic analysts emphasize that while Saudi investments in the U.S. may increase during Trump’s presidency, thay will not reach $1 trillion.
