Jordanian foreign minister strongly attacks Zionist regime
jordanian Foreign Minister strongly criticizes destabilizing actions of Zionist regime from Lebanon and Syria to Gaza.
According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s Foreign Minister, referenced the trilateral meeting of foreign ministers from Jordan, Turkey, and syria in Ankara, stating: “Today’s meeting reflects our unified stance in supporting syria’s security, stability, and sovereignty.”
He added: “We stand with Syria against attempts to destabilize it. Syria’s stability is synonymous with regional stability. Today, we took practical steps to support our Syrian brothers. We reviewed mechanisms to counter terrorism in Syria.”
Safadi noted: “While challenges exist in Syria, so do opportunities. The most critical challenge is Israel’s attacks and its efforts to sow discord. Israel has no right to escalate tensions or fuel division in Syria.”
The Jordanian FM emphasized: “Israel’s interference in syria will only bring destruction. we are aligned with each other and the international community to halt Israel’s meddling in Syrian affairs. Our goal is Israel’s withdrawal from Syrian territories and an end to its interventions.”
He continued: “Israel’s attacks on Gaza must stop—they only heighten regional tensions.Israel violates international charters and human values.”
Safadi stated: “The release of Idan Alexander should lead to a ceasefire in Gaza. A truce must be established urgently, aid must reach Gaza instantly—the world must act swiftly to end this suffering. Gaza has become a graveyard for international law; what unfolds there is an absolute catastrophe.”
Highlighting King Abdullah II’s global efforts for a Gaza ceasefire, he said: “Israel sabotages every peace possibility. It disregards Lebanon’s ceasefire, occupying areas in southern Lebanon while targeting Syrian security. Lasting peace cannot exist until Palestinian rights are fulfilled. We extend our hand globally for collective action compelling Israel to respect international law.”
