Zionist Regime’s Radio and​ Television Committee Announces Reserve Soldier Sentenced to Prison for Refusing to Participate⁣ in ​West Bank War

The English section ‍of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al jazeera, reported that the​ Zionist regime’s Radio and ‍Television Committee announced on Monday that⁢ a reserve soldier ​has been ​sentenced to prison ⁣for refusing ⁤to participate in military operations in the West⁣ bank.

The committee stated‌ that, according to the soldier, he had no desire to engage in military activities in the West Bank. The same source added that the soldier⁤ declared the Gaza war “illegal.”

Since early this year, the Zionist regime’s army has launched military⁤ operations in the northern West Bank—the‌ largest such ⁣campaign since 2002. These operations have caused widespread destruction in refugee camps across Jenin, Tulkarm,​ nablus, and Tubas, displacing tens of thousands of Palestinian residents.The soldier’s imprisonment⁤ comes amid escalating demands and calls for a prisoner ‍exchange ⁣agreement and a ceasefire​ in Gaza.
