Hamas’ Military Wing Al-Qassam Brigades Hand Over American-israeli Captive to Red cross Moments Ago
According to the English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, sources reported that Al-Qassam Brigades handed over the American-Israeli captive, Aiden Alexander, to the Red Cross in northern Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Hamas announced: “The Al-Qassam Brigades released Aiden Alexander, a captive with American citizenship, moments ago.”
Zionist regime media reported that Alexander would be transferred to occupied Palestine via the Kerem Shalom crossing.
Earlier, sources confirmed the start of procedures for handing over Aiden Alexander in northern Khan Younis. Channel 12 of the Zionist regime’s television reported that a Red Cross team had been dispatched to the exchange location.The regime’s army radio also cited a security official stating that “the Red Cross is en route to the handover point for Aiden Alexander in Khan Younis.”
Reuters added that Israeli vehicles had moved toward the handover site to receive Aiden Alexander. Meanwhile, Al-Arabi reported that a Red Cross team arrived at an area in northern Khan Younis where Alexander was expected to be transferred.
Additionally, Hersh, coordinator for prisoner affairs and Trump’s regional envoy Jason Greenblatt, are on their way to Ramat Airbase.
