India denies attacking Pakistan nuclear facilities in Operation Sondoor

Indian Air ‌Force Claims⁢ It Did Not Target pakistan’s Nuclear facilities Despite Social Media Rumors

The Indian Air⁢ force has denied claims circulating on social‍ media that it targeted Pakistan’s nuclear facilities.

According ‌to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and The Independent, Air Marshal Avadhesh Kumar Bharti, Director‌ General of Air Operations⁤ for the Indian Air Force, stated that New Delhi did not ⁢target an area housing one of Pakistan’s nuclear facilities during Operation “Sindoor.”

Bharti addressed rumors on social media alleging India had ⁣attacked a site known as “Kharan‍ Hills,” which reportedly hosts one of Pakistan’s nuclear installations. He asserted: “regardless of the nature of this ‌facility, we did not strike Kharan Hills or⁢ anything located ⁣there.”

Reports had⁤ suggested that during India’s airstrikes on a base in “Sargodha,” linked ⁤to underground nuclear facilities at Kharan Hills,⁣ the site was also targeted.

Operation Sindoor was conducted ‍from May 7 ‍to 12 ⁤ in response to the killing of 26 people in last month’s attack on tourists in‍ Indian-administered Kashmir.
