Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Cabinet Sworn In for Second Term
According to the English section of “webangah News Agency“, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, Anthony Albanese, Australia’s Prime Minister, and his cabinet were sworn in today for their second term following the Labor Party’s decisive victory in the general election held on May 3.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the government headquarters in Canberra, followed immediately by the first cabinet meeting.
The cabinet saw minimal changes, with ministers retaining their positions in Treasury, Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Trade.
Additionally, the 62-year-old Australian Prime Minister is scheduled to travel to Indonesia tomorrow to meet with its president before heading to Rome next Sunday to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Pope.
