Possibility of Trump attending peace talks between Russia and Ukraine
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Financial Times, Donald Trump, the U.S. President, expressed his readiness to attend the talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul, Turkey, on Thursday.
During Trump’s visit to West asia and his tour of several Gulf countries—including Saudi Arabia,the UAE,and Qatar—he hinted at possibly traveling to Turkey to participate in anticipated negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
Yesterday, while addressing reporters at the White House, Trump did not rule out his presence in Turkey on Thursday.
Speculation about Trump’s involvement arises as diplomatic efforts to halt the war in Ukraine gained momentum over the weekend wiht high-level meetings held in Kyiv.
