Mohammed bin Salman welcomes lifting of sanctions on Syria

Saudi Arabia’s Crown⁤ Prince stated at the‍ U.S.-gulf summit that the meeting aims to halt the war‌ in Gaza and​ welcomed the lifting ⁣of sanctions on Syria.

According to the English section⁢ of webangah ​News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency ‍and​ Al Jazeera, the summit‌ between ⁢U.S. and Arab Gulf state leaders began today in Riyadh.

Saudi‍ Crown Prince mohammed bin Salman, speaking at ‌the opening of⁢ the⁢ summit, emphasized​ that this gathering reflects a commitment to ‍strengthening cooperation and collective action. He expressed ⁤hope for ​continued collaboration with the United ‍States to ⁤achieve shared‌ interests.

The Crown Prince noted that the summit seeks to de-escalate tensions in the⁣ region ⁢ and ⁣end‍ the war in Gaza. He also welcomed U.S.President Donald Trump’s decision yesterday to lift sanctions on syria.

Mohammed bin Salman further stressed that Saudi⁣ Arabia ​supports dialogue among Yemeni parties to reach a thorough political solution.
