Putin consults on composition of Russian delegation in Istanbul talks
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, Yuri Ushakov, Advisor and Assistant to the Russian President, stated on Wednesday: As Putin (the russian President) said, we are ready to resume negotiations with Ukraine.
The Advisor and Assistant to the Russian President added: The Russian delegation in Istanbul will discuss both political and technical issues, and the composition of the delegation will be determined accordingly.
Yuri Ushakov, without providing further details about attendees at the mentioned meeting, continued: The Russian Consulate and Turkish officials are handling matters related to the negotiation venue in Istanbul.
Russian and Ukrainian officials recently announced that they have agreed to hold peace talks in Istanbul. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 15.
