According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Moskovsky Times, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, noted that while a Russian delegation is present in ankara for potential peace talks with Ukraine, there is still no word from the Ukrainian side!
He stated that the Russian delegation has arrived in Turkey for direct negotiations, but Kyiv has yet to issue any official proclamation regarding the talks, leaving their start time unclear.
Peskov also responded “no” when asked whether Vladimir Putin, Russia’s president, would participate in the Istanbul negotiations.

The Russian delegation at the istanbul talks will be led by Vladimir Medinsky, a Kremlin adviser. Other members include Mikhail Galuzin (Deputy Foreign Minister), Igor Kostyukov (Head of Central Directorate of General Staff), and Alexander Fomin (Russian Deputy Defense Minister).
