A Ukrainian official Zelensky is not going to Istanbul

A​ Ukrainian official announced that teh country’s president will⁣ not travel to Istanbul to participate in peace ⁢negotiations with the Russian side.

According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing​ Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, ‍AFP quoted a Ukrainian official⁤ stating that Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s ‌president, will not travel to istanbul but will send a delegation to the city for talks with the Russian side.

regarding this matter, Zelensky said: “The structure of Russia’s⁣ delegation shows that the country is not serious about achieving peace. Moscow has sent a delegation ‌with no authority.”

Conversely, the‍ head ‍of Russia’s delegation in istanbul emphasized that Moscow is ready to make concessions during thes ​negotiations‌ with Ukraine.

It should be noted that today, Zelensky, who traveled to Ankara for potential ⁣peace talks with Russia, met with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey’s president.
