the spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital further stated: We lack sufficient medical equipment and medicines. gaza’s hospitals are overwhelmed with wounded and sick patients. We urge the international community to pressure Israel to reopen the crossings.300,000 patients suffering from chronic diseases cannot access their required medications. The healthcare system in Gaza is disastrous—so much so that treating those with severe injuries is no longer possible.
The spokesperson also noted that the Zionist regime’s army systematically targets medical centers and ambulances, leaving most casualties arriving at hospitals with severe burns or amputations. Neurosurgery and thoracic surgery departments have fully halted operations, and medical staff are unable to provide services due to shortages of medicine and treatment supplies.
