According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera,Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi,in his speech at the 34th Arab League Summit in Baghdad,stated: This summit is being held at a historic time amid complex and harsh conditions,as well as formidable regional challenges.
He added: The Palestinian issue is witnessing its most hazardous phase—the massacre of the Palestinian people and the end of their presence in Gaza. The Palestinian people are facing planned crimes and brutal actions aimed at ending their existence in Gaza. Gaza is subjected to systematic destruction intended to displace its residents.

He also spoke about consultations with Qatar regarding mediation efforts to end the war in Gaza, stating that forming an independent Palestinian state is the solution to resolving the Middle East crisis.
Sisi announced efforts to hold an international conference for Gaza’s reconstruction immediately after the war ends, adding: If Israel succeeds in normalizing relations with Arab countries, just peace can be achieved through establishing a Palestinian state.
Citing a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, he noted that it could not withstand attacks by “the Zionist regime.”
Sisi called on former U.S. President Donald Trump to push for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The Egyptian president highlighted that “the Arab nation faces existential challenges,” warning that Sudan is on a dangerous path threatening its unity.
Acknowledging SyriaS situation, he stressed leveraging sanctions while preserving Syria’s territorial integrity and preventing terrorism’s resurgence.
