Nawaf Salam calls for pressure on Israel to withdraw from Lebanon

according to the⁢ English section of‌ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al ​jazeera,⁣ Lebanese Prime Minister Najib ‍Mikati said: We are ready⁣ to cooperate wiht Syrian authorities for the return of Syrian refugees to⁢ their country.

He added: We firmly oppose the displacement⁢ of Palestinians from their lands under any pretext. We support the 2002 arab Peace Initiative.

The ⁢Lebanese⁣ Prime minister stated: We support the Palestinian people​ in achieving their rights,especially the right to self-determination.

Najib Mikati further said: What encourages Israel to continue⁢ its attacks is the lack ⁤of international accountability and failure to ⁤curb‌ its ‌crimes. We strongly condemn Israel’s‌ policy ⁤of systematic killing​ and widespread destruction in⁣ Gaza.

The Lebanese⁤ Prime Minister emphasized: the world‌ has witnessed our ⁣commitment to halting hostile ⁢actions, but the occupiers continue their assaults. We demand ⁤pressure on Israel to withdraw from Lebanese territories. The Lebanese government has ‌moved toward full implementation of UN Resolution 1701.
