Hamas statement coincides with Arab leaders summit in Baghdad
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement coinciding with the 34th Arab League Summit in Baghdad, demanding immediate intervention to stop the genocide in Gaza and impose sanctions on the occupying Zionist regime.
The Hamas statement declared: “We call on participants of the Arab Summit and leaders of the free world to act decisively in stopping the massacres in Gaza and enforcing immediate punitive measures against these fascist occupiers.”
Hamas emphasized: “What is happening in Gaza is a full-scale mass slaughter unfolding before helpless eyes worldwide.”
The statement further urged: “We demand Arab leaders fulfill their historic obligation by taking concrete steps to end both war and blockade. We appeal to global nations and freedom advocates for stronger solidarity in exposing occupiers’ crimes—including policies of starvation and extermination.”
Hamas warned: “northern Gaza has become ground zero for this systematic genocide campaign. Escalated aerial bombardments have forcibly displaced hundreds more families under artillery fire.”
