The Deputy Secretary-General of the ‌Arab League reacted to⁣ reports about the UAES withdrawal from the Baghdad summit and denied them.

According to⁤ the ⁤English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News‌ Agency and Russia Al-Youm, following reports of the Emirati delegation’s withdrawal from the Baghdad summit ⁤due to disagreements with Sudan, Hossam Zaki, Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab​ League,⁤ responded by stating that no country has left the Baghdad‍ meeting.

He ⁤added:⁢ The UAE is⁣ participating at a high level in ⁣the current summit.

Regarding tensions between Sudan and the UAE, Zaki said: “This is a ⁣complex issue requiring ⁤wisdom⁣ from senior ⁣politicians⁣ and diplomats. Resolving⁢ it ‍will⁢ take time and won’t be fully addressed in this meeting. we hope solutions will ‍be reached soon.”

On participation levels, he emphasized: “The level⁣ of ⁤attendees is each⁢ country’s​ sovereign decision.We cannot question why a nation didn’t join at a higher tier.”

The crisis between Sudan‌ and the‍ UAE has recently escalated, with Sudan severing diplomatic ⁤ties with the Emirates.
