Islamic Jihad’s response to the final statement of the Arab summit
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement reacted to the Arab leaders’ summit with an official statement.
The statement emphasized: “Following the Arab leaders’ summit held today in Baghdad, Iraq, and its concluding declaration, we in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad stress that unless this gathering succeeds in halting the genocide in Gaza, ensuring humanitarian aid crosses borders, and ending the famine besieging the Strip—all issued statements, invitations, and requests will remain futile and hollow. This would further expose the incompetence of certain Arab regimes and their complicity with one another.”
Notably, hours earlier, the Arab League summit had issued a statement condemning Zionist regime actions against Gaza.
