Zakharova hopes NATO advisers will not divert Ukraine from path of reconciliation

According to the English section of Webangah ⁢News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and ‍RIA Novosti, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the⁤ Russian Foreign Ministry, said on​ Saturday: “We hope NATO ‌advisors do not divert Ukrainians from the (current) path of reconciliation.”

The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson​ added: “Representatives of the⁢ Kyiv regime themselves‌ acknowledge that ⁤Russia’s ‌proposals are logical. Thus,⁣ the key point‌ is for Ukraine not⁢ to allow NATO ‍advisors ‌to ‍derail‍ negotiations from a ‌resolution-oriented path.”

This comes as Ukrainian and Russian⁢ negotiation delegations met and held ‌talks yesterday,Friday,in Istanbul,Turkey.
