Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir makes covert visit to occupied territories on July 15 2024
Zionist newspaper claims Abu Mohammad al-Jolani made a secret trip to occupied territories last April.
webangah News Agency reports that Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz cited Syrian sources stating a delegation from Syria’s leadership, headed by al-Jolani, traveled to the occupied territories in late April after direct communication channels with the Zionist regime were established.
The delegation reportedly included a senior defense official and several figures from Quneitra governorate.
The article adds that the UAE facilitated this covert diplomatic channel between the Zionist regime and syria’s self-proclaimed leadership.
No details have been released about al-Jolani’s meetings with Zionist officials during this visit.
