Fire kills 17 family members in southern India building blaze
A residential building fire in southern India has killed at least 17 members of a single family.
According to webangah News Agency citing The Independent, a fire broke out in a residential building in Hyderabad, Telangana state, southern India, claiming at least 17 lives.
Local media reported all victims belonged to one family who had gathered for holidays at the ”Hauz Glazar” guesthouse in the area.
Twenty-one people were present when the fire started, with only four surviving.
The blaze reportedly originated from an electrical short circuit at a nearby shopping complex.
