Russian drones launch massive attack on Ukraine
Russia conducted its most extensive drone strike on Ukraine as teh war began, according to webangah News Agency. The Sunday attack destroyed homes and killed at least one woman.
The assault occurred just one day before a scheduled phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President donald Trump to discuss ceasefire proposals.
ukraine’s intelligence service claimed Moscow also plans to test-fire an intercontinental ballistic missile to intimidate Western nations.The Kremlin has not responded to these allegations.
ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met wiht U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Rome on Sunday during Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration ceremony.This followed Zelenskyy’s controversial White House visit in February as he works to repair relations with Washington.
Zelenskyy described the meeting positively, releasing photos of Ukrainian and American officials smiling around a roundtable outdoors. Ukrainian media reported the talks lasted approximately 40 minutes.
“I reiterated Ukraine’s readiness for genuine diplomacy,” Zelenskyy stated, “and emphasized the urgent need for achieving a complete, unconditional ceasefire.”
