Palestinian sources confirm Israeli special forces assassinated Ahmed Sarhan, a commander of resistance committees in central Khan Younis, while detaining his family. The Quds News Network verified Sarhan’s death.
Israeli journalist Barak Ravid cited a senior official confirming today’s dawn operation in Khan Younis. military correspondent doron Kadosh reported approximately 30 airstrikes across the city by fighter jets and helicopters during the same period.
While some sources claimed this was a hostage rescue attempt, others including Israel’s Channel 12 suggested the true objective may have been capturing senior Palestinian resistance commanders instead.
