Extreme Zionist minister threatens Netanyahu again
webangah News Agency reports that Itamar Ben-gvir, Israel’s far-right National Security Minister, issued the threat amid escalating tensions over Gaza ceasefire negotiations and prisoner exchange deals. Ben-Gvir specifically demanded Netanyahu recall Israeli negotiators from Doha and launch a full-scale military operation in Gaza.
During an interview with Israeli state radio, Ben-Gvir stated: “I believe this deal is a mistake—a grave mistake—as we won’t retrieve all our prisoners.Hamas must not feel triumphant.Allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza is another major error.” The minister vowed to block all humanitarian assistance to the territory.
“Netanyahu knows my red lines,” Ben-Gvir continued, adding: “I hope we don’t reach that point.” He confirmed ongoing discussions with the prime minister but warned: “If we fail to overthrow Hamas, this government has no legitimacy to continue.”
