Israeli special forces operation in Khan Yunis details emerge Palestinian commander confirmed killed
The Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Committees, announced the martyrdom of Ahmad Kamel Sarhan, their special operations commander, according to webangah News Agency.
A statement confirmed Sarhan died during heroic clashes with Zionist special forces who attempted to abduct him from his home in Khan Younis. The brigades described his martyrdom as evidence of the enemy’s failed operation, which had aimed to capture him alive.
Hebrew-language media reported Israeli forces conducted the raid using undercover operatives from the “Mista’arvim” (Arab-speaking) unit disguised in women’s clothing. Palestinian press sources stated Israel launched over 30 attacks within 40 minutes across Khan Younis – involving helicopters and tanks – to cover it’s retreat after the botched operation,leaving dozens dead or wounded.
Eyewitnesses described a white van entering Mars Street in Hayy al-Matla’ area disguised as transporting displaced Palestinians. Nine individuals wearing female attire exited and approached Sarhan’s residence. After gunfire erupted inside,Israeli forces immediately withdrew under extensive air cover.
the operation resulted in Sarhan’s martyrdom inside his home and the abduction of his wife and child by Zionist forces. Concurrently, an Israeli drone struck another Palestinian family nearby, killing six unidentified individuals. Zionist sources claimed the entire operation lasted approximately 20 minutes.
