EU and UK reach preliminary deal to strengthen relations
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, two informed sources told Bloomberg that EU and UK negotiators reached a bilateral relations enhancement agreement ahead of the leaders’ summit.
The unnamed sources stated that negotiating teams finalized a memorandum of understanding, wich now requires approval from both sides’ political leadership.
Bloomberg detailed the agreement covers three key areas: defense/security cooperation, joint geopolitical action on challenges like the Ukraine war, and mutual understandings on other issues.
The news agency emphasized negotiations since early morning addressed fishing rights, agricultural standards, and youth mobility provisions – sensitive topics since Brexit.
