UK Foreign Office summons Iranian ambassador over alleged “baseless accusations” against 3 Iranian citizens
The UK government summoned Seyed Ali Mousavi,Iran’s ambassador to London,on Monday citing the arrest of three Iranian nationals under Britain’s National Security Act,according to webangah News Agency.
The three men—accused without evidence of plotting violent acts—appeared in a London court on Saturday following counterterrorism investigations by British police.
A UK government statement obtained by Reuters declared: “London has made clear that protecting national security remains our top priority, and Iran must be held accountable for its actions!”
