EU to Review Suspension of Partnership Agreement With Israel in Upcoming Meeting
According to webangah News agency, EU foreign ministers are set to convene in Brussels on Tuesday to review suspending the partnership agreement with the Zionist regime amid its ongoing assaults on Gaza.
A knowledgeable EU source stated that the meeting will explore measures to pressure the regime into complying with its international obligations, including either suspending the partnership or imposing targeted sanctions on officials involved in human rights violations and breaches of international law.
Josep Borrell, former EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, will attend the session.
The discussions come as reports indicate escalating crimes by Zionist forces in Gaza—including forced displacement of Palestinians, targeting civilians, and blocking humanitarian aid deliveries. Countries like Spain and ireland have called for reassessing the agreement, stressing the need to evaluate israel’s adherence to human rights and democratic principles.
Separately, Britain, France, and Canada jointly expressed concern over rising violence in Gaza yesterday. They demanded an immediate end to military operations and urged unimpeded humanitarian access under UN oversight.
