Sweden pushes for EU sanctions against Israel
Sweden’s Foreign Minister announced efforts to push for EU sanctions against the Israeli regime due to its continued oppressive policies against Palestinians.
according to webangah News Agency, Sweden’s Foreign Minister told AFP that the country seeks EU sanctions targeting “Israeli ministers.”
The senior Swedish diplomat stated on Tuesday that Sweden would pursue sanctions against certain ministers of the Zionist regime over its treatment of Palestinians in Gaza.
Foreign Minister Maria malmer Stenergard emphasized in a statement to AFP: “Since we see no clear enhancement in the situation for civilians in Gaza, we must increase pressure further. We will now work toward EU sanctions against Israeli ministers.”
