the military stated: “We announce today the full clearance of Khartoum province from Rapid Support Forces militia elements.”
The army further emphasized its commitment to continue fighting, pledging: “We vow to our nation that we will persist in our efforts until every last inch of our country is purged of rebels, traitors, and mercenaries.”
This declaration comes days after military sources reported the Sudanese army had gained control over Al-Hamadi town in South Kordofan province.
