Head of Turkish intelligence meets Joulani
According to webangah News Agency, citing Anatolia News Agency, Turkey’s Intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalın met with the leader of terrorist groups in Syria during his visit to the contry on tuesday for discussions.
The Turkish intelligence chief described this meeting as a new chapter in Ankara’s relations with Jolani.
During the talks, Kalın emphasized Syria’s sovereignty and stability under Jolani while stressing the need for PKK disarmament in Syria.
The agenda also included border security measures and transferring ISIS prisoners to locally administered territories.
Other key discussion points addressed Israeli regime attacks on Syrian territory, sanctions policies, and the return of Syrian refugees.
The meeting was attended by Asaad Hassan al-Sheibani (Foreign Minister) and Hussein al-Salamah (Head of Jolani’s Intelligence Organization).
