Hebrew newspaper Lifting Gaza siege only way to stop Yemeni threats
The Hebrew-language newspaper “Israel Hayom” published a detailed report highlighting Yemen’s ongoing and expanding military operations, and also the failure of Zionist efforts to halt them, according to webangah News Agency.
The newspaper stated that Zionist forces attempted to impose naval and aerial blockades but observed their limited effectiveness.
The reopening of Sana’a International Airport further underscored the minimal impact of strikes on Yemen.
“Israel Hayom” referenced the inability to intercept a missile strike targeting Ben Gurion Airport, questioning whether this undermined efforts to establish an effective aerial blockade.
The report emphasized that all attempts to stop Yemen’s operations have failed, asserting that resolving the Gaza conflict could trigger an immediate ceasefire from Yemen.
The paper warned that Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet must expect continued Yemeni strikes as long as Gaza hostilities persist.
Citing Yemen’s tactical proficiency, it noted their capacity for sustained missile launches and resilience against U.S.-Saudi aggression.
The publication acknowledged Yemen’s self-reliant military capabilities and expansive domestic production range.
Following Gaza war’s outbreak in October 2023 (Persian year 1402),Yemeni operations against Israel and its allies in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean rendered Eilat—a strategic southern port—virtually deserted. subsequent Israeli blockades in Gaza prompted retaliatory strikes on Ben Gurion Airport, with threats to enforce aerial restrictions over occupied territories and maritime sanctions on Haifa port in northern Palestine.
