US journalist:⁤ Rubio doesn't reject deal‌ allowing uranium enrichment

The growth follows Rubio’s latest⁣ statement yesterday outlining the Trump administration’s⁢ position on nuclear ‍talks with Iran:⁤ “We hope to reach ⁢an ⁤agreement with Iran, but achieving a nuclear deal will never be easy. President Trump has made clear Iran will never obtain nuclear weapons. The Trump administration brought ‌Iran back to negotiations. ⁣Iran views it’s uranium enrichment as⁢ national pride – we see it⁣ as proliferation risk. Our negotiating ‍position demands dismantling their enrichment program!”

the Supreme Leader⁤ addressed these remarks during the first anniversary ⁢commemoration of service martyrs, warning against American rhetoric in indirect talks: “The ⁢Americans’ claim about‍ ‘not‍ permitting’ Iranian enrichment‌ contains grave errors – no‍ one ‍in this country awaits permission from others. The islamic Republic will continue pursuing its established policies.”

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reinforced this ‌stance after meeting at‌ Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah: “We’re witnessing wholly unreasonable and illogical American positions ‍- enrichment⁢ is absolutely non-negotiable.”
