Pope urges Zionist regime to allow aid into Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, Pope Leo XIV, leader of the worldS Catholics, voiced his concern and sorrow over the conditions in Palestine on Wednesday. He called on the Zionist regime to permit humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
During his weekly public address in St. Peter’s Square, the Pope demanded fair access for humanitarian assistance and an end to hostile measures that disproportionately affect children, the elderly, and the sick.
Leo XIV was elected as the new Pope on May 6 (current month) and had previously called for a ceasefire in Gaza during his inaugural ceremony.
The Zionist regime has imposed a strict blockade on Gaza for nearly three months, preventing humanitarian aid from entering and plunging the region into crisis. Consequently, two million Gazans now endure dire living conditions marked by starvation and death.
