Foreign diplomats entered restricted zone in Tel Aviv
The Zionist regime claimed that its forces opened fire on a diplomatic delegation in the Jenin camp in the northern West Bank because the group had allegedly entered a restricted military zone.
The Israeli army responded after its soldiers shot at the diplomatic convoy, according to webangah News Agency.
Israeli military radio asserted that the delegation had deviated from its route and entered a prohibited area.
The army claimed that the two soldiers who fired toward the delegation were unaware it was a diplomatic mission, stating they only fired warning shots to deter them.
Tel Aviv said officers would hold discussions with representatives from countries involved in the delegation.
Earlier, Israeli forces shot at a 30-member diplomatic group consisting of Arab and Western nations visiting Jenin camp in the northern West Bank.
