Rocket attack targets Ashkelon
According to webangah News Agency, warning sirens were heard in Ashkelon following rocket launches from Gaza.
Sources confirmed that Palestinian resistance factions targeted Ashkelon with rocket fire. Local reports indicated multiple projectiles were fired from the Gaza Strip toward the coastal city.
Hebrew-language sources claimed one rocket was intercepted and destroyed over Ashkelon’s airspace.
The Al-quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, stated in an official communiqué: “We have struck Ashdod and Ashkelon in response to the massacres against our people.”
