Houthi Leader Al-Mashat Declares War on Zionist Enemy as Struggle for Entire Islamic Nation
webangah News Agency reports that Mahdi al-Mashat,Chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, declared in a Monday night speech marking Yemen’s 35th reunification anniversary that the fight against the Zionist regime remains a universal duty for the Islamic nation. “No party can evade this responsibility, as this enemy threatens us all,” he stated during his address broadcast by Ansarullah’s wartime media.
Al-Mashat emphasized Yemen’s continued resistance path: “This is fundamentally an Arab-Islamic battle against the usurping Zionist occupier—an enemy targeting not just Palestine or Gaza, but every Muslim nation’s land, people, and dignity.”
The Yemeni leader stressed that countering this adversary isn’t limited to specific countries or groups but constitutes a shared obligation dictated by common destiny. He reaffirmed Yemen’s military readiness against potential U.S.-led aggression while pledging full armed support for Gaza until Israel’s siege ends: “Our decision stands firm—we dedicate all military capabilities to Gaza’s people until aggression ceases.”
“To our brothers in Gaza: fear no betrayer’s treachery. God stands with you, and so do we,” al-Mashat proclaimed.
Criticizing nations diverting Islamic wealth to enemies, he condemned hollow praise in global forums amid regional suffering: “Empty promises like Trump’s deceitful visions amounted only to mirages and hypocritical lies.”
Regarding recent U.S. strikes on Yemen serving Israeli interests, al-Mashat remarked: “I needn’t elaborate—the events themselves revealed the truth worldwide.” He clarified maritime security threats only target aggressors: ”One side initiated war; another defended. When attacks stopped,we halted [ship targeting].”
